Devon, Vesper, Ed (Pepper), Whistler & Hemingway,

Happy Birthday!!! Wow! I can hardly believe that you are already five years old!!!  This has been a very busy year for some of you and each of you continues to make me very proud...

Whistler became an AKC Champion this summer which brings our family count to three Champion offspring. How marvelous. It is obvious that you kids inherited your mother's good looks! (ok, and your dad's too!)

Vesper has enjoyed two honeymoons this year - the first with Damara's Roadie (but surprised us all with a false pregnancy and no pups!) She tried again in November with Damara's Spark Plug and we're keeping our fingers crossed right now!

Hemingway finally traveled to another AKC Lure Test and secured his second qualifying leg - he now holds his AKC Junior Coursing title just like his JC brother, Pepper, and his Field Champion sister, Vesper. Hemingway continues to accumulate points toward his ASFA Field Championship.

The news front has been quiet regarding Devon and Ed (Pepper) but we hope that no news is good news as they enjoy life with their families...

In case you've picked up a 2006 Basenji calendar, you will see several familiar faces...  The Pet Prints, Inc. 2006 Basenji calendar is sporting Mamma Piper on the front cover! Who knew?? A COVER GIRL!!! This calendar also includes an inside picture of Mamma Piper, big sis Book and Uncle Titan sitting on a bench... If you pick up the Browntrout publishers 2006 Basenji calendar, you'll find Mamma Piper peering around a tree as well as Mamma Piper and Uncle Titan posing in front of a beach umbrella. Also, the new "Dog Bible," published this year and available at many local bookstores, is sporting many of our basenji family members' photos. We owe a great deal of thanks to our friend and photographer, Cheryl Ertelt, who recently admitted, "Yes, Mamma Piper SELLS!"
